My stats haven't moved an inch for over two hours now. Impressions, clicks, all are stuck. Am I alone?

Is this out of the ordinary or a major problem?

It's the norm these days.
A 4 hour delay is not so common.

So with respect, is it worthy of starting a thread and cluttering up the forum with this common occurrence.

We should probably all wait at least a day before we wonder why Adsense stats are broke. This happens all the time.

Very valid point but at the same time this type of thread gives a mental satisfaction that I am not alone who is seeing the very low figures. Earlier (few years back) I used to just check adsense in a way of majoring how my sites are doing.
Not any more. Because my stats may be pathetic but sites are just doing fine and never know when the stat will catch up. Same day or next day.

Infact i came to the forum just to check whether there is any thread about stats stuck.

You mean like PIP threads ? ;)

Yep, surely is, it would be interesting to know the quantity of page views a post like this receives from people just checking stats are stuck but never post to say they are seeing the same.

Monday for me was like the "old days" with almost up-to-date metrics and it's interesting that it was also my best day in ages, therefore does this mean when metrics are delayed they're subject to further checks thus my overall clicks and subsequently my earnings are reduced?

Very co-incidental.

These threads are a major source of relief to those shocked with their stats. Please let them be :) No need to read them if you don't care. There are people living off this stuff, you know ;)

I find comfort in knowing there's a problem outside of my site. Finding a stuck stats thread here assures me there isn't an issue with my site that needs my attention right now.

Yesterday was awful for me, perhaps things will catch up today. I never considered that sometimes clicks from the day before might be credited the following day, I just figured they would be added on to the correct day's stats. But that explains why sometimes I have lots of clicks early in the day, which is not normal for my site.

I agree with the posters that feel it is a good idea that we post delays in reporting. Lets us know it is not our accounts, and more of a global problem.

I have noticed this type of delay for weeks now, but have not, in the end, seen any drop in adsense income.

How about ONE thread for mental ease, rather than a new one every day? It *does* clutter up the forum.

And my stats have been pretty close to spot on all morning, FWIW.

I enjoy the daily stuck threads. After I look at my stats I always come here to see if it's just me or everyone else. Perhaps a master thread would be better, but unless it's stickied,it'll eventually get buried.

These threads are a major source of relief to those shocked with their stats.

I very much doubt that this is the case. Anyone who does Adsense (and I am one) should be well aware that stats are not always up to date. Slow stats are a very regular occurrence.

This thread was started after someone didn't see their stats move for two hours. That happens all the time and it's surely not worthy of starting a thread. If stats get stuck for a day or more perhaps - but two hours?

I have noticed that the stats have not moved for hours.

It is good that someone started this thread so people know that others are also seeing this.

I was thinking of starting a thread: "My stats are okay today".

How about "Why do the stats get stuck" thread?

Whenever they seem to be "normal" I tend to have good, above average days, whenever they get "stuck", they invariably suck:-)

HuskyPup, my earning trends are exactly same as yours. I did disable "Certified Ad Networks" last Friday and I tought that was the reason of the "incredible" Monday.

And yes, slow/delayed stat days never catch up with normal days, at least for me..

Heck, these stuck thread are more than a relief, they're a major food group! Besides, I only pop in WHEN my stats seem stuck, and my stats are stuck today. Phew... relief...

Husky! You know I get that way when my stats get stuck... the pressure just builds up until I see some fluc.tuation.

[Darn... I see the mods saying "no, no, bad boy" ...delete. delete.]

I love these "stuck stats" threads don't you?

I think the value of the "stats stuck" threads is to confirm an observation. Of course it would be nice if Google were more consistent, but there are occasions that we make an observation and it's nice to know it's not just our account.

There's nothing better than getting all stuck up with a fluc.tuation...oh now there's a thought for a new domain extens.ion...plus I also want fluctuat.ion and suct.ion :-)

suct.ion

definition :

1. the phenomenon known as smartpricing where eCPM is squee.zed, resulting in earnings being suct.ed dry slowly and systematically.

2. the act of sudden spasmodic suct.ing of ions from the atmosphere, as a result of waking up to find your stats stuck and your earnings at ridiculously low levels.

3. [or did you mean the other "suct.ion"?]

HuskyPup

3. [or did you mean the other "suct.ion"?]

Then we could have some serious fulminat.ion, fixat.ion and degradat.ion...hey, this all works and could be the great explanat.ion for everything...or is it stll 42?

So, is it depress.ion or elat.ion today? For me, it might just be confus.ion;)
