Ad Review Center Choices

How do you decide

Just going thru my ad review center and there are hundreds upon hundreds of ads to review. Got two questions:

Should I really bother, it's a major tedious pain?

What criteria do people use to approve or not, particularly for ads in other languages and for other countries?

Obviously I try to filter out completely irrelevant ads, but what else? I have no idea how advertisers target, and don't even know if an ad for a car company in India is targeted just for them, or for everyone.

I also find it a pain, especially all those flash ads. I only allow text ads anyway.

The ones I block are the obvious ones, fat ads, dating sites.

In the main the ones I see are on topic for my genre but I just wish I didn't have to wade through pages of graphic ads of every imaginable dimension for advertisers I've already approved. Just let me see their text ads.

I leave it alone. Like both of you mentioned, it's just not user friendly enough, and you don't know which sites they are targeting.

As far as I can tell, no ads ever get deleted from the list, even if the campaign ended years ago.

I think I saw something here about the new AdSense interface having new features in the ad review center. Lets hope "Delete All" is one of them.

Thanks. I've decided not to put in the time. At this point, I'm absolutely amazed how many of google's properties are actually completely crippled because of features that don't work, inadequate documentation, etc.
