Anyone else have this issue?
What I'm asking is... have you ever seen "today's earnings" display one number then log in 1 hour later and your "today's earnings" are much lower.
Just once. I checked my earnings at the end of the month, last day, just before midnight and the morning after I had the same amount less a few cents. Yes, it was only a few cents but yes, taken away. I guess those were invalid clicks
On the other hand, for the various AdWords accounts that I work on for clients, there are refunds for invalid clicks every single month - and some times they're considerable. I assume at least some of those are probably coming off of someone's AdSense.

Not when looking intra-day, but I had a similar experience when I looked at daily values at the end of the month. Here and there I noticed what I would say were "corrections", but -as Netmeg- never more than maybe a Dollar or so.
But I have stopped bothering with Adsense on such a detailed level (well, in fact, I have stopped bothering with mostly anything related to Adsense). I realized that at the end there is no way to prove what has happened anyway. What is a single Adsense publisher going to do if you see this again and again? Write to Google and complain? Good luck with that. Make your webmaster colleagues aware and stirr a riot? There are certainly bigger issues with Google than that.
