Hi all,
I'm new at adsense and can't find what is goung on.
Are channels included in the aggregate monthly earnings? I think they are not included, because the full data for the channels and main site is more then aggregate data.
How are the channel revenues payed?
Are payments for the channels payed separately?

Thank you all for any comments

Adsense channels are a breakdown of your total (aggregate) performance. Think of it as a pie: you have the whole pie, and when you subdivide the pie -- viola, you have the channels. The channels should theoretically equal the aggregate numbers -- except that you may have pages where you did not create channels; or you may have pages where you used different channels for multiple ads on a page.

Hence, you are not paid separately for the channels. You are paid for the whole amount. G pays based on the total revenues.

<edit>I must type slower than I thought, alika got in first with that pie analogy, much clearer than words</edit>

Yes, channels are included in the aggregate earnings.

The channels you defined are simply subsets of all the activity on your site, they really have nothing to do with the total being paid. At the end of the month, if you have channels defined for each adspace, channel1 + channel2 + channel3, etc., will (should) add to the calendar totals for the month.

One thing to keep in mind is that channel data is always two days old, so the channel total will not agree with the calendar total through today or yesterday. (When I check channel data I usually go back 3 calendar days; even though today is Wednesday, channel data isn't quite complete as yet for Monday.)

thanks -- that explains why my new channels created around 36 hours ago aren't showing up yet in reports .. I thought I'd done something wrong!
