Is it possible to remove those arrows below the ads? Is there an option for this? I couldn't find it.

Can I ask why you want to remove them?
What do other people think about the "show more ads" arrows?

Do users ever click on them?

They are a bit naff, to be honest. It would be nice to have the option to turn them on/off.
<rant>If those advertisers want to be on "page 1" of the adverts, then pay more than the other 4.</rant>

As a publisher, the arrows don't bother me. But I'm guessing site visitors don't notice them.

I don't personally care for the arrows. But I haven't seen any negative impact from them that I can identify.
Of course with G's lack of reporting on "features" like this, there is no real way to know if they help or hurt. .

I've passed this feedback along to the Product Manager who works on ad formats and features. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Could you also ask your team to add one more column to the reports?
EPC.
Saves getting the calculator out and should [in theory] be doable. Yes, I've asked in other "official" forums.
No I don't do spread sheets.

I think I read on another forum someone saying that if a user clicks on the arrow and then makes a valid click on an ad you DON'T get paid by Adsense. Can ASA shed any light on this.
And yes it would be nice to turn it off completely as why the heck did those advertisers not bid highest in the first place. I think it might encourage lower bidding.
