Let all of adsense publisher discuss the effects of screen resolution on our CTR.
Some guy says when we have screen resolution of (1024x768) then you have high CTR, arguing that you have more space and can easily put 336x280 ads which is highly Click able.
On the other hands, the guy who use 800x600 they say they have high CTR, arguing that in this resolution space is limited and your ads appear very prominent on the page so great chances of Click.
Please tell about your screen resolution CTR when it was 800x600 and when it is 1024x768 or more..which resolution increase CTR, or there was no change in CTR?

With my local sites I see more than 30% of people with 1024x768.

I don't know where those people have been hiding, maybe in the jungle or under a rock because 1024x768 was 2002 and not 2009.

Screen size in pixels: is that in any way important on modern displays ?
The screen on this laptop is 1920x1200 pixels, yet the browser window I'm typing in is only about half as wide.

Where's the relevance of pixels that are unavailable to the website anyway?

Netbooks (which are selling by the millions these days) typically have an even lower resolution: 1024 x 600, if I recall correctly.
