913 0 0.00% $0.52 $0.47

So for 913 impressions, I made 47 cents?

Never seen it this high before.... How did this happen? Any ideas?

Thanks

I wouldn't call that high by any means.
I'd be rather pissed off if I had those stats.

Really? I've never seen 47 cents profit for only 913 impressions.

What is an "average" ?

What is an "average" ?

It's all relative.
What's good for you would be bad for me. What's good for me, is bad for someone else.

There is no average as it depends on many things. My best click was nearly $5
But i've had as low as 1c

Quote> 913 0 0.00% $0.52 $0.47

Would the 0.00% be clickthrough rate (CTR)? If so they will be ads running on eCPM rather than cost per click. Maybe placement ads?

Lame_Wolf, I'm not talking clicks, just impressions.

ah, sorry.

Looks like CPM adverts.

Yes, that is high. I get 1c for those. Well done.

Or, it could be lag.
Sometimes, clicks to not marry up with impressions.

CPM: it depends a lot on the advertiser. E.g. I've had a major international brandname put CPM ads on my site.

Best month in a long time.
Only beat by a major movie release that "linked" to my main niche.

The clicks for the CPM ads were very low - but for CPM campaign that's not their goal anyway, they had a message they wanted to get out there and I was happy they wanted me to help them.

The good thing of CPM is that low click ratio. With my site able to keep visitors for more than a handful of pages on average, the CPM ads didn't even affect my CPC revenue all that much, nor the affiliate sales (they all compete for the same space).

I'm more than happy to always get up to 50% of big brand name CPM ads: it basically doubles my average adsense revenue.

Well, if those stats are from a source many of us are familiar with, they were apparently willing to pay $0.52US for 1,000 impressions, they got 913 impressions, so you got $0.47US.

There are so many variables it's hard to say whether that is a high or low rate.

$0.52US for 1,000 impressions

If that was the best on offer I'd shut the door and look elsewhere. Flipping burgers should pay more.

Even lowly Kontera exceeds that by a mile and that's only "pin money".

Looks good for CPM but a zero CTR on 913 impressions isn't so hot unless you are in a niche that is notorious for not clicking on ads. (I'd love some CPM ads in my photo gallery!)
