We are hitting numbers in terms of overall revenue, ecpm that we haven't seen in at least 12 months, and one of the best things is it's coming from several different niches and topics compared to just one influenced by a single advertiser.

We've hit over $10 Ecpm on a number of days, again, not seen for at least 12+ months.

All this in a month which, traditionally is one of our worst in terms of revenue, traffic, etc.

Am I smart or am I lucky?

Wonder what it means.

Lucky that your ecpm is $10. If I had that I'd be set for life.

There are a couple of good niches for which I am considered an authority and that are well paying, because a sale might be worth upwards of 10k profit.

I used to be easily over $10 ecpm average month after month, sometimes as high as $15 across all sites. But since the crashes, etc, it's been down around $6.

Hope it's back to stay.

I'm also hitting across different niches prices for clicks I've never seen... driving ECPMs that were at all time lows into the over $10 and sometimes over $20 ranges.

Hope it lasts, but I'm used to the ups and downs... mostly downs... LOL

I'm also seeing a jump in EPC, leading to very good eCPMs, for the past ten days or so. My nice is NOT back to school related--my site attracts ads from a particular industry that I think is the source of the higher-value clicks. Perhaps as the economy shows signs of life that industry is boosting their advertising.

No, not back to school. Several of the niches involve topics where those who sell software to corporations ($10k on up) advertise. Perhaps they are gearing up early for a big Fall push, and trying to anticipate an economic recovery.

I can't absolutely conclude much though about this surge and what has changed, except it's not a one day fluke. The month as a whole is so-so, but the last 10 days have been wild.

Sounds more like they are anticipating bigtime windows 7 roll-outs.
