I run a website where people can download movies, mp3's, games and other stuffs. So based on my website I would like to ask a series of questions.

1)Is it ok to run adsense on a site like this? I have been using adsense on this site for more than 10 months for now but generated only $100 till now.

2)I give almost 8hrs/day for my site but in return get only $1/day on avg from adsense. Please can you specify what type of content would be better for my website so that I have to work for only 2hrs/day or less and will generate atleast $10-$25 a day.

I'm very much confused about what to do?I hardly sleep for 4hrs a day since I have to update my site.

Please anyone help me..please...please...please..

Unfortunately, this is not the type of site that would ever be likely to do really well with AdSense.

- If you're giving stuff away for free, why would they click on ads? They probably wouldn't, and to be honest, that type of site doesn't usually attract the type of money-spending ecommerce customers that the advertisers are looking for. So you'd likely be smart priced down to a few cents a click. Sounds like you already are.

- If you're selling your products, then why let them leave your site for a few pennies, when they could be buying YOUR products?

If you want to make money by giving something away for free then there needs to be a catch. For example, they need to accept your newsletter to find a download key that they use to get their software. You can sell ad space in the newsletter.

Also, you might be able direct sell ads to *other* free download sites.

AdSense? I don't think so - not with free software downloads.

If the downloads aren't legal files to redistribute (copyrighted material) you could even lose your AdSense account so be careful where you put AdSense.
