Overture to Launch Contextual Ads in RSS feeds - Will Adsense Follow

I've just been reading reports that Overture are about to start an RSS feed contextual advertising system.

This is big news. I know that a significant proportion of my site's readers find and read it via RSS - I do pretty well at getting them to visit my site in person and therefore see my ads - but ads in the RSS feed would be significant for me.

I wonder if and when Google will introduce a similar Adsense version!?!

If they don't soon I'd seriously consider a switch...

I wonder how Google would (or Overture will) manage nested Ad units? For example, someone has an AdSense enabled page that is partially their content and partially and RSS feed with more AdSense ads.

This is going to get weird fast. Pretty soon we'll need a centralized "virtual adspace real estate" brokering system to manage competing ad units.
