Adsense On Chat Room Websites

Guys help me out here are we allowed to do this, back in 2005 there was a discussion in this forum that spoke to the prohibited uses i.e Incredibill pointed out -

You're not allowed to place adsense on any chat pages, see adsense Terms:

You shall not, and shall not authorize or encourage any third party to: [...] display any Ad(s) or Link(s) on any error page, on any registration or "thank you" page (e.g., a page that thanks a user after he/she has registered with the applicable Web site), on any chat page, in any email, or on any Web page or any Web site that contains any #*$!ographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.

However that section has since been deleted and Labnol says we can add adsense to registration pages and error pages.

Does mean we are allowed to add adsense ad units on chat websites and chat pages.

My suggestion would be to contact google *before* trying.

I have seen some popular sites with this but I will beusing a javascript that is embedded on my webpage that has Adsense ads. I wont contact them they usually don't respond if they think the answer is pretty obvious.
