This is one of the worst day of my adsense income.

Not breaking any records here, but ECPM is back to normal and a couple bucks higher than the average for May and still almost two hours left in the Google day.

So, it's a great day as far as I'm concerned!

Here in the UK I had the worst Saturday in 4 years. And its looking as if it is going to be the worst Sunday in 4 years too. I'm not sure it's going to be worth getting out of bed tomorrow.

Well, near the end of the day and my CTR and ECPM are back to normal for me. I hate to say this because it may not hold, but I'm so very very thankful for it, however long it lasts.

:( I guess this is it guys. We had a really bad few blows a couple of months ago, I figured that was it and I just had to ride it out, but this is really a whole new level of crapness.

I wouldn't mind but days before everything went bad, I'd just ordered 3 quadcore dedicated servers. Fun fun fun.

CTRs surprisingly normal for me both Saturday and Sunday however my EPC has taken a thrashing over the weekend especially from AdLinks with -20% overall reduction....ouch!

My main ad channel, over the past few months has gone from 4% CTR down to 0.9%. Up until 2 weeks ago, it was at least 1.5% but now dropped again.

This is just killing me and I know if I ask adsense, they'll tell me it's down to seasonal changes, blah blah blah.

Until last fall, my CTR rate overall was 5% (excluding Google Search which was twice that), then it fell to the 2% range, fell further a couple months ago to around 1.5%, and now it's at .68%. Today is starting off abysmally. It's absolutely time for me to go elsewhere and get AdSense out of my life completely.

My CTR is very slowly rising to somewhere near two months ago [for the moment] after I finally solved the problem of the stupid graphic ads instead of seeing relevant text ads.

Looking at the season, my CTR should be SOARING at the moment. It is however significantly lower than it has ever been.

I have already been spending some time planning and developing some direct advertising packages. They are ready to snap into action at any time, should the situation become even more dire. I guess that if adsense no langer wants me, I'd rather take the farewell-step myself.

Well, besides my revenue being down, Google just isn't loading properly - not only on my sites, but other sites I visit.

Sometimes I can't even access a website because it is waiting for google ads to load. (Dependent on where they've placed their google ad code presumably).

If pages and websites with google ads aren't loading properly, it's no wonder ad revenue is down.

Chelle, I've noticed this too. But it doesn't seem to be getting much coverage here or elsewhere. I wonder if it is just happening in some parts of the world?

Look to see if it is new or old code that is being used.
I use the old code and not having any loading problems.

SmallIP - I know it's not affecting everybody, and possibly it is location based, but it's really frustrating me no end. It's messing up my whole surfing experience actually, because almost every site has google ads. I am also curious as to why this isn't getting any coverage anywhere. (I am in South Africa by the way).

I'm wondering if it hasn't got anything to do with the user targetted advertising - maybe they don't know what ads to display for me -lol

Lame_wolf - I am using new code. But my issue is more with the websites I am visiting that don't seem to be loading google ads properly for me and for some others. I suspect this is the reason that ad revenue is dropping for some people (besides all the other issues).

My ads seem to be loading normally (I use both old and new code). Why the great swings in AdSense earnings from day to day is what I'm trying to digest.

I am sure they've just tweaked so much, that the algos are just too sensitive, the slightest change just sets of some crazy smart pricing.
