Still getting it here. Was it ever determined in the long thread why this was happening? I figured they were trying to defeat some kind of site scraping or something that keyed on "Ads by Google".

Thought it was to stave off consumer organisation complaints that they didn't do enough to distinguish their adverts...

Sorry - should have been clear in the original post.
Where "Ads by Google" used to be - I'm seeing the occasional "Feedback - Ads by Google" - along with the disliked "Ads by Goooooooooogle".
