Yesterday and today so far something weird is happening, eCPM seems to be suspiciously "fixed" to this month's average eCPM (which is very low btw).

It is as if the system is under maintenance and it is defaulting to the last known average.

What makes it weird is that eCPM in itself is an ratio, and even if EPC gets fixed there is no way to predict or control impressions and CTR, and my data sample cannot be considered small, hundreds of thousands of ad impressions.

Nevertheless from this end, it looks like I am watching a lousy simulation of bad days and not real earnings, and no I'm not on that kind of drugs (yet)!

but but.. I was sure adSense does not fix any levels.. The famous or infamous glass ceiling does not exist..

Well, same here GG, but that's how it's looking right now, first I thought there might be some code debugging/exorcism going on at the plex, but it still does not make sense as they can always suspend data processing.. Just weird.

when I suggested a ceiling on here, I was told it didn't exist :)

I was told it didn't exist :)

What ceiling? It's more like an ever-deepening pit these days:-)

shhhhhh, they are watching ;)

yes, why would a company ever want to put a ceiling on earnings they have to pay out? I wonder what would motivate them to ever want to do that? :)

My stats have not moved for hours. While traffic has been flowing. It is broken again. This is becoming a steady problem with the Adsense machine fatal errors.

AdSense reports have been quirky for as long as I can remember. But my month-to-month revenue is consistent so it looks like it's just not reliable on a daily basis. They had problems with reports a few days ago and it seems like my income was low since then, but on the other hand today I today I got a surprising click dump. Maybe it's related to the past few days.

Anyway, the payment for March is on the way and the amount is typical. April's payment will be around the same, so all in all it seems to be working.

cool, seems anytime I complain my stats go up for the day :) Maybe I need to do that more often ;) Thanks Adsense!

I personally think Google uses a set of parameters which calculates what they would like to pay you, and then uses this to 'smart price' your EPC to modify your earnings.

What I find annoying that if I had the impressions and click-throughs I have now back a few years ago I would be x10 better off!
