My friend has 5 sites

I have a friend with 5 domains she has accumulated over the years. Some of them are doing quite well, even though they haven't been looked after much. They are all interlinked to some extent.

She would like to add AdSense to all of them. The trouble is, she doesn't have 5 AdSense accounts. Is there a possibility that Google would consider her sites a spammy network and ban her?

It's hard to say what Google considers a link farm. Even if she never got caught in the Google serps there is a good chance of getting caught with AdSense. Do all the sites have the same theme.

She should go to the Google News forum and read about the proper way to link sites together, without getting in se trouble.

I read that it is ok to have one site as the hub, and the other sites link only to the hub. Personally I refrain from linking my sites.
