This is just a guess, but they might have disabled your account for click arbitrage (buying traffic with cheap clicks to get higher-paying clicks).

I don't use AdWords but when I log out of AdSense, the first link under 'Google Publisher Tools' on the 'logged out' page says: Drive traffic to your site with Google AdWords.
If Google are apparently encouraging publishers to use Adwords to 'drive traffic to their site', why then would they use this as a reason for banning someone from AdSense?
I don't wish to be confrontational here but I'm just interested.
Fortunately, we have some great posts on things to do if one should find their AdSense account banned. If you were innocent and had not violated Google's AdSense TOS, there are some things you can do to try to get reinstated.
