Tuesday looks like being crap. Leaving the filter empty was a mistake. All sorts of poorly targeted Doublecrap dross appeared.

Yesterday turned out to be a normal day for me. Today is abysmal, laughable. So far, impressions lag behind what my analytics say and the number of clicks is a single digit! Oh the pain! :(

I'm seeing a lot of low value AdLinks clicks today but a much higher CTR...at the moment.

My site was been lost 4/5 of the gains, almost everything! I gone mad... But today my gains is rescuing back to 50%-60% of the normal, I'm not sure yet, I will wait the end of the day to confirm it. Still bad, but we can live without look for another source of income to replace the AdSense.

Feels like it's about an hour late still today.

Noticed that it started the day at 0700 GMT. (US daylight saving went into effect I think.) That might make it two hours late.

Today I started with a good day. 2 hours later, CTR and earnings dropped, reflecting stats from the past days. Is this some kind of joke?

Do you get the feeling this IS the new norm?

2 hours later, CTR and earnings dropped

Yep, I'm seeing this every day now.

My only explanation is that China/India/Middle East/Europe are getting on with things meanwhile the USA/Canada have stopped advertising/clicking almost altogether, it's the only rationale I have for diabolical overnight metrics these days.

Anyone with any inside info whether this makes sense?

maybe they add clicks from the day before during this first 2 hours

It probably comes down to nothing more than Google not wanting to lose revenue from the recession and so they tweak and tweak until they get the daily figures THEY want.

It makes no difference to them how we feel, because they know as much as we get shat on, we're still probably better with adsense than without it.

Publishers are without a doubt the least respected or cared about part of Googles system.

Shaping up to be one of the worst days of the month so far. Ever since Doubleclick got involved things seem to have gone to hell with Adsense. Is there any way to opt out of the Doublecrap effect?

My stats for today are low as well. The rest of the month has been pretty good though! Hopefully just stuck!

100% normal stats here for me in the UK. Is it a regional problem?

I apologize if I'm just saying the same thing over and over again, but there can be fluctuations in reporting times that are normal. If something happens that is going to significantly delay reporting (e.g. scheduled maintenance) I'll do my best to keep you updated.

There's more info here [google.com] on what's normal in the world of AdSense reporting (the short answer is that up to 24 hours is within the normal realm).

Perhaps it is regional? I am US based(East Coast) with a very bad looking Adsense day so far. My stats do appear to be stuck right now. Most of my traffic comes from California and New York state. Maybe when the Californians get home from work- things will pick up for me. Yesterday seemed "normal" though.

It's now 8:30 Eastern time and things are moving. Impressions are almost equal to what my analytics say they should be...and earnings doubled in the last two hours. I guess the frustration is, for me at least, that the reporting fluctuations are becoming so pronounced now...

"the reporting fluctuations are becoming so pronounced now"

Exactly - things are not as they were and it's annoying to be jarred out of what has been a smooth & steady routine. Having these unpredictable "stuck" periods prompts people to make adjustments that may not be justified. In any case, don't we have enough aggravation these days without now having to worry about Adsense?
