Every time I go to the adsense log in I get the

"Data Transfer Interrupted

The connection to www.google.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

The browser connected successfully, but the connection was interrupted while transferring information. Please try again.

* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.

message.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I have to either close the window and try again 2 or 3 times or hit the "Try Again" button on the error message screen.

I've had it for weeks. It always goes through the second time.

I don't get that message every time I try to log on to Adsense, but at least a couple of times a week (using Firefox - don't know about other browsers). It always works when I hit the "Try Again" button.

It happens most of the time here also. I've gotten used to it but it is a little strange they haven't fixed by now.

Actually I'm pretty surprised that it took so long for someone posting this.

Yes, I'm in the me too camp.

I would be interested to know what's causing something like this. I have never encountered this problem, and I log into Adsense using IE, Firefox and Safari from Macs, XP in OS X and XP on a PC, from different network connections and physical locations.

You all who are having this problem must have something in common. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? That has fixed stranger problems for me... What url are you accessing to log into Adsense? Does this happen on the screen before or after you enter your password? Does it also happen to you on non-Google pages? Is it a full moon when it occurs? (Ok, that last suggestion was only partially serious...)

The only thing I have in common is using Firefox across several systems using WIN XP, WIN Vista, Ubuntu, Gnome and another Linux I can't remember which.

I never use MSIE to check this account but occasionally use Opera and it happens regardless of whether I'm hardwired or wireless in the office or at a WiFi point.

I'm using Firefox on XP.

Since I posted this, instead of the log in screen automatically recognizing me and directing to the overview page, it is now pausing on the log in page and asking for my email and password like it used to do.

Hmmm.

td22: the login page "forgets me" approximately once a week. I think that's normal.

I think that's normal.

Not for me, it's very rare I've been asked to do this again.

That's so strange, Husky, I assumed that happened to everybody, 'cause whenever it happens to me, it happens to me on all platforms and from all locations. For example, if I find I have been logged out at home and log back in, and then go into work, I'm logged out there too, and I'm logged out on my laptop...

Just curious: What do you login with?

a) Username, no domain (you're user@gmail.com but you just login as "user")
b) full email (user@gmail.com)
c) full email that's not a gmail address

It's weird that so many of us have different experiences logging into the same service...

Just curious: What do you login with?

a) For Adsense info@example.com

and for Gmail about 10 accounts with example@gmail.com

I use the same method across all the systems I use.

I'm wondering if my occasional auto-logout is caused by the fact that I login as "user" and not "user@gmail.com". I've tried logging out and logging back in with the full email adress and we'll see if it makes a difference.

And I thought it was my Mac, or Firefox. That's what I've been using and getting the same issue. Usually, just hitting the back button triggers an automatic reload though some times I have to hit reload myself.

I also seem to be permanently logged in, for whatever that's worth.

Shucks, I thought it was fixed, but it happened again today. Any *gulp* IE users here who experience this issue? It might be limited to Firefox. Can't remember when this started, but the last Firefox update (3.0.6) was released on February 5th. It happens on the TokenAuth URL. No word from Google so far?

It seems to be occurring every time I log-in with Firefox now...strange, works perfectly afterwards!

I haven't had that problem, but when I launch Firefox with my default tabs, the Adsense login page sometimes fails to display the user name and password blanks until I type [google.com...] in the address bar and hit the enter key or the reload button.
