Remove URLs from Competitive Ad Filter

I hope this will improve earning for few of us.

Hello friends,

In this critical time for adsense publishers, i think there is something few of us can do to make earning just little better i guess. Most of us have blocked our competitiors and other low quality ads just to keep our cpm better and for other reasons. I think its time to un block them. This way publishers might have little larger number of ad competitors to show in ad units and this might just make things marginally better. But it all depends on niche to niche some of you guys cannot afford to do this at all now and few of you guyz might make something out of it. I just did so and thought to share the idea.
Good luck to all of us for the matter.

Joey

I think I'll pass. it's not just about earnings for me. It's also about keeping bottom feeders off my property.

I wouldn't add my competitors back in.

The loss of business would outweigh the extra AS income.

EPC need to drop 80%-90% before I'm willing to seriously consider emptying my competitive filter.

If you want to increase competition for your ad slots, sure, you might let the bottom feeders back in again.

Then again, I wonder why did you block them in the first place? Is an ad for "dead popes" any better now than it was six months ago? Is it more relevant to your site, or your visitors? Do you want them to leave your site now for a low quality site?

This only makes sense if you need the money so desperately that you just have to ignore your visitors.
