My sites have their own locally generated search functions. (They are not related to and don't use Google Search at all.) Is it OK to put Adsense ad units on the results page of my site's search function?
Yes, but you may find that the AdSense ads are pretty generic -- i.e., not directly related to the search terms. This obviously has a negative impact on CTR, etc.
