B and O tax?

Do we pay B and O tax on adsense and other affiliate income?

I've been paying it for years on my adsense income, but a friend of mine just finished her taxes and her accountant told her she does not owe any B and O tax, her income was not actally from adsense it was from a another affiliate program, but that shouldn't matter.

Is her accountant wrong?

I sent an email to the department of revenue already, but haven't heard back yet and I wanted to get some other answers as well anyway. Thanks!

For those who don't know, it's Business and Occupation (B and O) Tax. Not our new president' first and last names.

Since I have never heard of it, I Googled it.
Not only is it a state tax, it is Washington State ONLY!
So don't feel too stupid, like I did.
There aren't going to be very many folks that know what it is.
