Spotted some websites with NEW centred ads

Noticed quite a few big websites with centered text ads, is this something that can be done in CSS? Is it violating google's TOS? Or is this a new feature Google are rolling out?

Snowboarding website with centered adsense:
[i42.tinypic.com...]

Same wesbite where adsense isn't centered (just by clicking refresh):
[i40.tinypic.com...]

Movie website with centered adsense:
[i41.tinypic.com...]

Anyone got any other examples or tried doing it themselves?

Those are placement-targeted (site-targeted) CPM text ads. I've seen such ads displayed centered or non-centered, so I don't think this is anything new. Maybe Google just likes to mix things up.
