Many company owners do not know the power of AdSense.

2 weeks ago, I talked with a friend and small business owner about local targeted ads.

He tried in AdWords to display ads 70km around his company.
He has a first new customer by this.

He told me, that he changed now his advertising budget.

100.-EUR per month to AdWords instead of a local newspaper.

So most AdSense publishers have much experience with the system, so why not built up a second businss line as AdWords consultant?

That's good for the own income, but also for the income of all AdSense publishers.

When world wide 10 million small business owners shift 100.-EUR per month away from print media to AdSense, that's 3 billion more per quarter.

When only 1/3 comes down to the publishers, 1 billion more, nearly double the total pay out to the publishers.

You're asking for the AdWords referral to be back again, I second it although it did not make me any money (directly).

It is a good time for such an initiative given world financial crisis, but I'd rather see it come back with a more profitable preposition for publishers and offering a simplified fool proof beginner version for advertisers, wouldn't hurt to offer a $25 free signup bonus for advertisers, hosting companies give away $50.

Since we're here:
Pssst, how about a Google Chrome Referral replacing / in addition to the old FireFox Referral too.

You're asking for the AdWords referra

No, nothing for the internet

This requires a personal contact to explain with personalised examples.

your friend should try to calculate his Return on Investment with his advertising spend. if he has positive ROI, he should change his 100 euro budget to unlimited.

if he is making more than he is spending, he shouldnt let an arbitrary budget get in the way. if he is not, then he is still probably doing better on adwords than advertising in the local newspaper.

To short time for statistics, it's only 2 weeks.

Also, he is in a business doing best in the warm part of the year.
