Autoblogs and adsense

Anyone know Google's policy on this? Tried it?

Putting aside the moral and ethical issues, does Google allow adsense to be placed on so-called autoblogging sites that generate content automatically from RSS feeds? I’m not talking about copying an entire article, rather I’m talking about just placing a snippet of the first sentence or so of an article on a blog with a link back to the original article. And I’m not suggesting a “content farm,” where you generate a million pages in one night. I’m only talking about 1-3 posts per day. I’ve read on other forums that Google doesn’t care about such duplicative content and it’s only a myth that such blogs get banned from adsense.

I know people have strong feelings for and against this method of blogging, but for purposes of this discussion, I’m just asking if anyone has been banned from adsense for autoblogging and what were the circumstances (i.e., did you copy an entire article or just snippets).

I can't answer your question directly, but you should read the terms of sites that offer the RSS feeds. Many have terms that prohibit use of the content for commercial purposes. If you violate those terms and the site owner finds out, closure of your AdSense account will be just one of the consequences.

and from the webmaster guidelines:

Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.

i think you are describing something with little or no original content.
