Adsense advertisers want more exposure

Is there any risk attached to dealing with them directly?

I've had a few advertisers who already appear on my site with adwords who want to advertise using conventional banner ads, dealing with me directly.

Is there any risk that Google may penalise me for this? Although I am not approaching the advertisers Google may come to the conslusion that I am poaching business from them.
