Looking for some that may have first hand experience on any effect embedded videos may have on click throughs. I don't plan on using adsense for video, but ad more variety to content pages. Videos will be placed below the fold with one 250 x 250 pix ad kept in the same position above the fold.

On the flip-side -- I use adwords video units to advertise my site and it yields some of the highest conversions to membership on my site with a very high CTR. Play rate of these videos is up to 3% at times.

My general sense is that people love watching video but it must be completely on-topic.

Hmmn. Considering video is relatively new it's nice to hear reports from other angles. I get the impression from reading here and there adsense videos bring a very low ctr if I were to consider it.

The ones I am referring to will be very targeted, more like a review of the content on the page. Much of my content is how to in the home improvement/construction business...lousy at the moment but I'm happy. I suppose it's experimentation time.

...and many at WW say they hate video? Or it's over rated and will die. Wow.
