Adsense on search results page - breach of TOS?

Hi,

When I read the TOS I understand that it is leaving the door open to display adds in search results pages as long as the search pages are from your site itself.

In other words, things like Atomz are nok but if I install my own search tool on my site, I can display adsense ads.

Is my interpretation correct?
