AdSense in other Countries

I'm an AdSense publisher in the US - but i was wondering about other languages and countries. If i created a site in German - can i still use my same account info or do i need to create a new German AdSense account. Also, for other countries - how does payment work and are all payments in USD?

Yes, you can use same account for all language supported by adsense, payment is same for all, in USD.

EPC is different of course, can be better or worst, it depends cost-of-living of country that use these languages.

Earnings are quite the same for English, German and French, as far as I can see with my sites.

For portuguese the EPC is VERY low!

I have Dutch and Spanish translations of the game guide I wrote (it's very long and quite popular). Unfortunately, I don't track English guide itself, but Dutch CPM is 2x higher than the whole site. Spanish is around 20% higher than the whole site.

IMHO japonese can be higher EPC avg than english

What is the strategy?

Just translate the english to other languages and host it on the same U.S. server?

Are the "money terms" the same - can you roughly translate "credit card" into another language and it magically works?

In German you can. 'Kreditkarte' works as fine as credit card.
