CNN just reported today is supposedly to be a big online shopping day (internet equivalent of Black Friday... "Black Monday"?).
For those publishers new to Adsense and not familiar with the US holiday, many families get together for Thanksgiving, and travel from all over. It's similar to Christmas. That means for the day before Thanksgiving and the day after, there are millions of Americans travelling, i.e., not online. The day after is a big bargain shopping day traditionally. Some publishers can expect a drop/spike in revenue for 3-5 days or more for the Thanksgiving week.

My US visitors dropped about 20-25%; other countries same as usual
I took a global visitor hit on Thurs/Fri/Sat ~35% with Sunday down ~10%.
Before the 4 day period I set myself a minimum earning's target, not that I could do much about it however it was set as a worst-case scenario, and earnings were actually 90% of that target therefore worse than even I predicted. Sunday was easily my best overall earning day with Thursday easily the best EPC.
