Are you noticing a decrease in adsense revenue?

Adsense just blows in so many ways and in others it's the best thing since sliced bread.

My search has gone from a reasonable 20 cents per click to 3 cents. 7 x less? grrr

My content clicks have gone down by about 50-100% in some cases.

This is a 4 year old domain, we have our ups and downs but this is a joke.

I just wondered if others are in the same boat right now or is this isolated to my market?

Cheers

Paul

I am not big player in the adsense game, but recently my earnings per click have increased drastically.

But realistically, it's been since about Sept. that the CTR has fallen.

Same for me.

No I'm not, however my website nor others... can claim their web site is the gold standard for revenue.

To many unknown variables to understand ones earnings with AdSense...

CTR is down but ePCM is up. Which does not makes sense. I have seen it been stable for the past year but since I got "The Letter" it was down for about couple of weeks but now it is unusually up. Even with some sites with very low CTR% it is unusually high.

I am not complaining but it will probably adjust itself.

Just curious from those who have seen changes in earnings whether they got "The Letter" or not.

Google's changed something for sure for those of us earning less since others are seeing record earnings.

Yep and it all started on a 'maintenance' day.

And right after sending that talked about letter to many adseners apologising for the bad times. LOL

My CTR and CPC--and thus eCPM--have slowly been declining for about 1.5 year. The drop has recently been recompenstated by the strong Dollar, though.

Decrease in eCPM but fun levels are at an all-time high.

I just had an unusually high day from Adsense yesterday, but it could also have been the holiday (which usually is a down day) so I'll just keep watching as I always do :)

Could it be that more and more people are moving their email accounts to Gmail and Adsense is loading the emails down with better, higher paying keyworded ads and giving us the duds including low pays, duds and skammers? Just asking.

It'll never be like it was for us small publishers in the future ... bet on it.

Earnings have been up 25% or so for the last two months after being down through the center of the year. I'd been focusing on monetizing in other directions and Adsense started going up. go figure.

earnings have been steady for the past one year. We do have weeks that ads are not well targetted but the average has been the same for a long time.
