Looked at one of my blogs and saw that there were no ads! :(

Checked my email - saw nothing from Adsense, checked my spam box as - nothing!

Then went to check my status reports and it said that none of my sites were blocked?

I did make a few cents today so that means that sometime today it was working......

Sent an email to Adsense today but don't 'spect I'll hear from them until later in the week?

Did you check your blog using a different web browser?

Perhaps your ads are not showing up on your IP address or computer. Check it from another location if you can.

Well I'm still generating earnings so I'll take a look using some other browsers.

I checked it today and still am seeing no ads however I am still generating revenue?

I went through Adsense's trouble-shooting page and did the "thing" with opening the hosts file.

Now I saw some lines that correspond with the lines that adsense says to delete but they didn't have the same host number?

Am I allowed to copy and paste here what my "hosts" file looks like so that maybe someone could analyze it?

Am even though it may be a long shot - would my being on and using AOL's browser have anything to do with it - because it was the only browser that I had where I could see the adsense ads. Now I can't see any adsense ads on any site at all?

Trying to remember if I downloaded anything lately that could have caused the problem. And I did post before about having problems with some kind of certificate showing up when I tried to access adsense but I haven't had that problem for a few days now.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have solved the problem and the culprit seems to have been the "hosts" file! I did some alterations of it (but saved the original as a backup!)

I can see the adsense ads again on my sies!

As an added benefit I'm also able to see the ads using my other browsers as well!

That's great, but you might want to have your computer completely checked out - whatever made the hosts file change to begin with might still be resident.
