Stat weirdness today?

Or is it just me?

Hi I checked Adsense an hour ago and found I made x dollars from y views. I just checked Adsense again and my stats now say I made x/2 dollars from y/2 pageviews. Am I the only one?

I have not noticed that today but I have noticed that in the past. I wouldn't worry, frankly. It's probably just some database caching issue or similar issue that will sort itself out.

Yep - the stats on Adsense frankly don't settle down for a few days. At the end of the day, the only stat you can trust is what it says on the cheque ;)

Note that there are some differences in stats among "today", "this month" and "all" due to time lag.

Rubenski, I think you are right. Even though stats can fluctuate wildly for today, this month and past week.

Today is more crazy than usual. Either there is a big rebate on for advertisers on my site or all clicks has been rewarded with a record low y.yx cents.

Still, I've seen it in the past too, and it usually settles after midnight, Google time, which is next morning where I'm at.

Hi Nikke, indeed stats are a bit weirder than usual. I know about the occasional difference between 'today' and 'this month', but I've never seen the 'today' figures decline during the day. Having another look, I see the problem has sorted itself out already...

From my experience...
if you want to see fairly current stats then enter a specific date range..like 9/10/2004 to today. Don't use the same date range twice in a row or they'll likely be cached.

I dont know about the strangeness of the stat, but my ECP is the lowest from my history :@

Google is preparing for something... (and it's not good)
