For the last 15 hours my main directory site has been offline and we can't find out what is wrong!
This makes slow days look positively awesome.
I had more earnings yesterday with my main site down than I have done so far today.
Anyone else?
what is going on?
I've no idea, it's going from bad to worse for me.
All ads running as normal and EPC as normal yet sites that are normally registering into the hundreds of clicks are stuck in their 20s!
As usual for me post maintenance Saturday, I suddenly get whacked out of the blue for no known reason whatsoever.
Come on G, where's that dump?
How am I going to afford friday beer?
I've already been to the bank and borrowed the money promising that my AdSense account is good enough collateral for the loan:-)
Come on someone, tell us you're seeing "normal" numbers.
Are all you guys seeing adsense ads on all websites?
Ad targetting is superb as usual.
do you mean it as you say it or the opposite?
Hehehehe...I mean accurate:-)
Total traffic is way down
Mine is normal, I have never seen such delayed reporting, this seems like "another" post-maintenance Google up-yours!
Just why is it that only some of us see this or are prepared to post about it?
Revenue will continue to drop until significant numbers of publishers begin falling away to Yahoo et al, then it will recover just a bit. That's how markets work.
Correct!
During the past couple of months I received invitation emails from 2 other networks and started using them. Cpm is 100% more than what I make with Adsense. Conclusion: Adsense is not paying a reasonable price for my ad space and once my relationship with the other networks is 100% stable I might start removing Adsense. I didn't expect this would ever happen!
I'm now of the demoralised opinion camp that reasonably successful publishers, let's say USD 100-500 per day, mean absolutely NOTHING to G, if "I" were to I would not feel compelled to write this.
Realistically though, G is fighting spam/mfa/con sites all the time trying to protect their advertisers however the small publishers get caught up in the middle of their battle...huge corporate AdSense publishers don't give a fig...hehehe...just like the real world:)
Oh...and Friday's earnings were -36% below average on a totally normal day for me.
