I am running Trend Micro Internet Security; have been for several months. It updated itself yesterday, and now all AdSense ads are blocked in both IE and Firefox.

I can probably figure out how to disable that in my own program, but it's a little disturbing that it now defaults to blocking AdSense. I remember this happened several years ago, but I thought it was fixed.

Anyone else seeing this? I don't know how much market share they have, but it could affect the bottom line.

(Note - I had no problems whatsoever seeing the ads prior to yesterday's update, which required a reboot)

Hunh; according to the message it displays, the controls to turn it off are under the Parental Control settings. But I have my parental control turned *off* and web advertising is enabled, and it's still blocking all ads on content sites. So I can't even turn it off. What a pain.

Now I see the ads again. This is *really* weird.
