I and my little brother have a two website, one is under the ownership of me and other one belongs to my little brother, we have just single PC at home and both have different google adsense account. Both us want to check our daily adsense earning reports from that PC with the our adsense account? I have read in some forum that in this way google can cancel your adsense account because google does not allow one user to have more than one account, as you and your brother will login from the same computer, google system will understand this that you have more than one account and this will lead to the cancellation of your account? Is this is rumor or true?
I think in this forum, very mature webmaster is taking part they can truly tell me about my scenario and what google truly says about this.

Are your sites similar in anyway? Are they linked together? Those types of things could be red flags.

That said, I do know of husbands and wives who have maintained separate adsense accounts. So it can be done. You probably just need to make extra sure that everything about both of your sites is squeaky clean.

FYI: in case of problems with one account, second account would also be banned (most likely) as "connected".

With the many millions of Adsense accounts in operation I would have thought that the husband/wife or two in one family thing is not that uncommon?

Why not ask the Google Adsense people and get it on record?

Too many myths here.

My wife and I work together in a small company, have two laptop computers in the business but often keep switching for a variety of reasons (specific software on only one computer, one person is better at content other at formatting, etc.). We do have two accounts, with obviously separate SSN, but we know each others passwords and most of the time one person checks stats for both often minutes apart. Obviously, since we run a few websites, they are all nicely linked.

Everything we do is legal, we pay taxes together as a couple like any other American family, never a fraudulent click, and have been with AdSense for 5 years now generating annual income in six figures.

As netmeg said, there is nothing to worry if you run a clean business and are legally OK (IRS and all).

It would be a violation of privacy and rather stupid of Google to assume that just because two people access its account from same computer, somehow they are crooks.

It's okay. As long as you don't click each other's ads, you'll be fine.
