Site Maintenance, Saturday, August 23rd

There will be maintenance this Saturday, August 23rd, from 10 am - 2 pm PDT. As you will know by now, this is a start time of 1pm in New York, 6pm in London, 10.30pm in New Delhi, and 3am (Sunday) in Sydney.

While you will not be able to access your account during the maintenance, your ad serving and reporting will be unaffected.

Doesn't it seem like we are haveing a large number of maintenance shut downs? Historically, we dont have a shut down every two weeks.

****NEWS FLASH****

All week reports have been coming in from webmasters worldwide. Many claim a reasonable 2 weeks revenue from Googles adsense program.

Needless to say, this has caused quite a stir at Google head quarters. Director Eric Schmidt called an emergency meeting to quickly put an end to this strange anomaly.

Engineering vice president Stuart Feldman assured advertisers that Google engineers are working around the clock to fix the issue.

According to our sources, Google has received thousands of threats from disgruntled advertisers, who claim during the past 2 weeks, they've paid as much as $0.05 cents per click.

Wonder if they're in the process of shutting down the referral programs, thus leading to the extra maintenance time? It's gotta be a bit of a job to update their entire publisher network to reflect "no referrals now."

They indicated it would happen in the last week of August, so we're getting there.

(Technically eight days to the end of August, but we're in the ball park.)

Can any body tell me whats the problems. Is this happen before or this is first time?
