adsense showing ads related to a different site's content

I have one big site that uses my domain name, and some small ones that use subdomains. I keep noticing that adsense displays ads that relates to the content of that big site in all of my sites, even those with entirely different content.

Does anyone experience that behavior? and how do I make adsense display relevant ads in those small sites, free from my big site's content?

Lately I've been seeing ads that are related to completely different domains (i.e. not sub-domains). This started a few weeks ago. Obviously Google changed something and, at least for some of us, it isn't a Good Change.

I have seen this before, in similar circumstances while checking my own sites on different topics.

I just presumed it was Google trying to clever and "remembering" what you were last looking at!
