Does anyone know if the adsense targetting somehow takes into account the browser? I am seeing very different ads between Firefox and IE for one of my pages. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Not sure, but one thing that might be possible is that once you've already seen whatever ads in IE it shows you different ones in other browsers, based on the theory that you're on the same IP and being the same user, then it would be a good idea for them to show you different ads, even if it's the same page.
I think that even if you refresh with the same browser it will sometimes show different ads.

I use Firefox regularly and also test my pages with IE. I rarely see any difference in the ads and what difference I do see is usually simply do to the normal Adsense ad rotation.
