I was also looking at my adsense numbers and thinking how I at least got like at least 1 cent per page impression - at least - say like 500 people visited my site on one day and I earned at least $5 - now mind you I'm not talking about getting paid 1 cent per page impression / visitor I'm just saying that so far I at least get 1 cent per visit when I look at my adsense numbers a certain way............
Now going back to the post topic on the 6th of July - as compared to the other July days so far - I'm below what I want to earn average-wise - but it was over $5 for July 6th.
I think that the only person I can really get mad with is myself because I just have to keep trying to optimize my blogs for more of that adsense earning money!
On the whole I really "peaked" as far as my adsense earnings were concerned about a couple of months ago but I haven't reached (or exceeded) my highest month yet - but as I look at my adsense numbers I see that this is a pattern because I will peak one month and then for a few months after that my adsense earnings will be lower than that peak for a few months and then I "peak" again earning a higher amount and then the pattern starts all over again!
So its not so much that I'm frustrated with adsense - its more like I'm frustrated with myself.
:(
I expect the drop to continue, since there are 2 factors working against us: the oil crisis, and Google's special deals with Myspace and now with Yahoo, which will further dilute the available inventory.
The only difference I saw over the weekend was a reduction in rogue activity therefore my CTR and eCPM looked much better.
the eskimo daylight savings calendar
Is that a tax-deductible savings scheme? :-)
Even with the three-hour downtime my revenue somehow rallied up to where it's suppsoed to be. Guess I also have a glass floor
past midnight (google time), my eCPM was way high and then it tumbled down to 30% of where it's supposed to be at this time of day.
your glass floor is my glass ceiling... ;-P
