Do you report adsense violations

when you see them on other sites?

Sometimes I come across violations and if they are really obnoxious and blantant (scraped content, nothing but ads, misleading pages, etc.) I report them to G.

But sometimes I don't if they aren't too bad (ie, quality site but has images right above content; Or, title right above ads).

What do you think... should you report every violation you see? How will G handle these reports-- ie, warning people, or just banning them? I'd hate to see a nice site with just a small offense banned, but when sites that are pure junk get banned, that's great.

I used to report violations but now stopped. Google never takes any action. Now I only fax them DMCA, if something is related to my own site.

I report spammers, scammers, scrapers, and malware spewers for Adsense violations. Not surprisingly, these sort of web vermin seem to be the most likely to have Adsense violations on their sites.

I don't tell anyone else what they should or should not report. But yea, I report 'em when I find 'em. Also AdWords violations as well.

I report them. At one time I spent a lot of money on Adwords - I have zero tolerance for sites cheating the system. And as an Adsense publisher I view it as my duty to try and keep the system clean.

I reported sites a few times over the last year. They did take action the first 1 or 2 reports (I checked up on the site later) but the last few they haven't done anything. So I stopped reporting those sites. I hope they enjoy their high CTR while it lasts.... usually I report when there's images immediately beside the ads giving the impression there's a relation between the two items.

It seems sort of discouraging when you see an obvious scraper/malware site and Google doesn't take action against them.
Do they simply get too many reports to check on? Or do they get X number of complaints before they respond?

Wouldn't it be nice if ASA said something about this? Many of us seem to have the same problem with crap sites that violate TOS and lack of action by Google AdSense. Do they care?

I believe the action they take varies on how important the site is to them.

I can't imagine that they would respond directly about *any* advertiser; even if it's a complete spammer, it would be such a complete violation of privacy that people would scream even louder than they do now. Even if I was violating their terms and conditions six ways from Sunday, they'd probably be at some legal risk if they discussed my account with any of you lot.

I rarely go back and check if someone is removed or not - I just report them, and let Google sort it out. I don't expect things to happen quickly with Google regardless; it's hard to get a behemoth to make a left turn.

Why bother doing Googles job? I see thousands of sites a week that are violating the TOS, I view them the same way I view MFA ads and the like. Why waste my time and resources when Google doesnt think its worth the time and resources?

My sentiment exactly. Google is being paid both by advertisers and publishers to serve quality ads on quality sites.

Hahahaha, very funny.
I reported several and they are still around. I even sent you PM after I took AdSense down. What actions did you take on those that were spamming my websites? You dont have to answer because we both know that they are still spamming your AdSense publishers and AdWords advertisers. Site with no content and 4 Yahoo ad blocks right in the middle. No action taken.

Dont waste your time people. Google is OK with spam and arbitrage. After all it is revenue for GOOG.

Google wants it both ways for as long as possible. They will say one thing, and say they are happy to have your help, but they will do nothing if it is in their best interest to do nothing. Notice the wording... "we review all reports". So obviously they have decided that some sites are not "violating the TOS", even though you may think the sites are. Google is in this game for the money, follow the money.

Chuckle.
