Ads are taking *way* too long to display on my site - sometimes failing to load at all - to the point where I'm about to take them off entirely - just during my peak season too. Anyone else?

Slowly here too.
I changed the code so the divs with the ads are the last one to load. This way the content loads normally without the ads slowing my content, except from one site where I don't use absolute positioning...

Yea, I have one client who also runs adsense, and I checked his site and it's really slow too.

We have noticed ads taking far longer then usual to load over the last couple weeks, sort of funny that Google is using page load time in QS now but our pages load on average 5 times faster then Google ads.

they should allow us to put the line calling the actual javascript script right at the end of our page. (the bit that goes to google.) we can put all the variables and stuff where we want the ad to appear, and just the script bit at the end.
maybe if we bug them enough...

Let's just hope that Google does not determine EPC based on page load time. LOL. The geniuses at the Plex might actually find that your page is slooooow, and then give you a slap.

I sent a e-mail to G about this yesterday. I noticed it happening more and more lately. Their ads hold up the loading of my pages. But only in Firefox.
Most the time there is no problem, but when there is a problem, it causing my pages to take up to 30 seconds to load while they wait on the Adsense ads...
