Effect of creating a new adsense account

Adsense is currently in my partners name (account). This is a pain as it involves sending the profits every month.

I want to create my own account. I'm concerned that this will have an impact on my earnings.

Any advice?

No. The earnings have no relationship with account holder. A page's performance in helping the advertiser get great visitors is all that matters.
