There is no way that things can get this bad, so I hoping stats are stock or something has to be going on.

I am down to 10% of my usual crazy I tell ya :)

Saturday was my worse day in about 2.5 years. No idea why. Also, the stats for search seem to be well down as well.

Some sites are paid in CPM (cost per thousand), so G has to wait until 1000 impressions are accumulated and do the update. Assuming you have ticked "Show this channel to advertisers as an ad placement" which is more likely to attract CPM advertisers. I think they do it in other ways as well!

Something strange is happening.
Since one week ago, Adsense in reporting less and less page used page views.

Google Analytics is not confirming this trend.

ditto. could be advertisers have run out of budget (since May has 31 days), so the last 2 days are dry. I'm hoping so, because my earnings are pitiful right now.

I think everything is slowing down now. If you are seeing it too chances are that will be the norm for the next two to three months at least.

My EPC is normal however Thursday's earnings were down 15% and Friday's 20% versus daily average and compared to a weekday average they were down 25-30%, Saturday came back to the average Saturday.

Either visitors are genuinely changing their habits or something is wrong with AdSense reporting and considering how many servers Google alledgedly have now I reckon I know where the error may be!

I was at a show yesterday talking to a vendor. She said her bricks and mortar shop takings are down 25%

She went on to say this is because May being a 5 week month, 2 bank holidays [UK] and the kids are off school.

It could [hopefully] be the reason why the big dip in earnings these last few days. Just a thought.

Suddenly, earnings dropped by 2/3rds on that day. I have never seen a drop as dramatic as this. I wonder if there was a Google SERPS update on the day?

Well I assume I had Click Dump Sunday!

For Core Site #1 where the huge drop had been, clicks and earnings were both up 50% compared to 2008 average Sundays taking the last few days back to normal.

When the serps change and the traffic is the same why do earnings drop? Google does not know the pages yet?

Seeing lowest numbers in over 3 years, especially in the AM hours. Advertisers must be cutting back BIG time!

My earning seem normal today. I've had a few days that are lower than average but nothing to concern me greatly.

I guess it could depend on which market you're in.

I had lows last week too but I'm still waiting for my stats dump. It'll come probably later today.

Funny thing though: witholding clicks at the end of the month to dump at the start of the new month makes a big difference to Google's cash flow ;)

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but geezopete - it sure looks like that's what's going on. I had the worst days in my history with AdSense on Thursday, Friday, and most of Saturday, and then yesterday it picked up a bit and today it's going gangbusters. Like three times what it was for those periods combined, and the big clicks (.75+ ea) are back too. I'm not arguing with it, but it sure makes ya wonder.

Yes, the impressions seem right, but the clicks and rev are WAY down from normal.

Well I misspoke before - looks like my stats haven't moved in an hour or two, and every time I try to run a report, it just hangs.

Tuesday was truly an awful day and only beaten by New Year's Day and Easter Tuesday.

This is usually my best day of the week and compared to the year's Tuesday average was down by at least 33%.

These earning fluctuations seem to becoming more extreme yet my traffic is very stable...and it's been worse since the last maintenance Saturday.
