Hope June 2008 AdSense is Better

Well April was our best month ever then we saw a 40% drop this month. All along traffic has been stable.

I hope June returns with better numbers.

Anyone else see this kind of trend?

April was my best month ever too! The month isn't over yet, but I think May will end up as a 20% drop from April, which actually isn't surprising. April, after all, was well above the long-term average. Now I'm back at a little above average.

I don't think one month--not April up nor May down--constitutes a trend. How are you doing compared to this time last year?

I'm down about 25% from this month last year. In April I was up about 25% from last year. That's a big drop

Revenue-wise I'm down 30% compared to May 2007. CTR has significantly decreased, probably due to changes in the way Google counts the clicks (ads were never blended). The detoriation of EPC seems to have stopped, though. eCPM continues to fall, though not at the levels we saw during 2H 2007.

My expectations for June 2008 are - low.
