Using adwords with adsense

I earn a little money from adsense on a couple of popular websites.

When ever I've tried to boost (relevant) visitors to the sites using adwords my EPC gets smartpriced to the ground.

Is this a deliberate G thing? I've feeling adsense checks for adwords traffic, probably to kill the MFA sites I guess.

Or could it be that adsense dont like some of the invalid click traffic coming through from adwords?

It would be nice to use Adwords, as it would deliver users from other parts of the internet I wouldnt normally get the attention of.

Anyone successfully using adwords with adsense?

This is known as arbitrage and has been discussed to death in numerous other threads. Even though you may not specifically be trying to do arbitrage, Google pretty much takes a dim view on AdWords going to AdSense pages.

You may have better luck if you remove AdSense from the landing pages (or make new landing pages without AdSense), delete (or at least pause) your old campaigns, and start new campaigns.

Yep. I'm contemplating turning it off though (AdWords) because my organics are now good enough that I don't think I need it anymore.

My organics are good, and I do much better without adwords.

Just silly to know that Google is the only environment where income goes down when you advertise a service.

I would be very, very careful using adwords on landing pages with adsense. I believe google my use this as a basis for disabling adsense accounts. I stopped all of my adwords campaigns on May 1st and as a result the epc went up considerably. I make the same amount of profit as before without having to deal with adwords, so to answer your question I do believe adwords causes smartpricing.
