yesterday one of my site impressions hit 1000
so now i want to start monetizing my site,

can anyone roll me some ideas?

1. most of my ads are same same same (about 10 sites of jobs industry), can i do anything (like blocking these sites to appear) to improve my revenue because i don't think people click same ad everyday :)
2. yesterday for 1100+ hits it has made 17clicks, is that usual or very less? also the money made is 2$ hahaha

so please guide me in proper way,

Hi Sucess,

The only way to change the ads are by changing your subject matter. Otherwqise, you will keep getting the same types.

Actually the clicks sound pretty good. :)

1000 impressions is very low if you want to get anything worthwhile from adsense.

Forget about the adverts and work on increasing your visitor nummbers.

Don't worry about the same adverts being on, afterall the visitors are new, they won't notice it.

If its the same visitors every time then you have a bigger problem as you may get invalid clicks which will lead to the dreaded email from Google banning your account.

Your discussion has more to do with increasing traffic, a marketing issue, than it does with the AdSense program itself. This is why we ask members to carefully consider the forum a question is posted in.

i don't think people click same ad everyday...

Stagnant traffic
If the majority of your site traffic is coming from the same people then the problem is not showing ads from more advertisers, it's increasing the stream of casual surfers. One cause may be poor ranking, especially for longtail phrases. If you're running a forum then that means better moderation of post titles and optimizing your board for bots (what to include as well as what to exclude them from), etc. WebmasterWorld is a good example of how a forum can attract a large amount of new traffic every day. I encourage you to please see the librarys of the appropriate forums for more assistance on that. SEO is not the focus of the AdSense forum.

yesterday for 1100+ hits it has made 17clicks, is that usual or very less? also the money made is 2$...

See above.

thanks seniors :)
for your advices, i concentrate more on getting more visitors first.
BTW, 80% of my visitors comes from google search, so i can say most of them are first time visitors to my site.
