hi,
is it against adsense tos if you have a site with adsense ads (only one ad) on a free host that also places forced adsense ads (3 ads) of their own on your site e.g top & bottom ads.

thanks

As far as I know it is not allowed to have two Adsense accounts in a single page.

If showing normal adsense ads, ie not a search box or referral ad then you are only allowed a max of 3 ad units on a page so if your host is showing 3 units then you can NOT add a 4th

It's worth it to pay for hosting (some is very cheap) rather than lose your AdS account because your freebie host is forcing ads onto your site.

Agree: find a host not modifying your content, the cheap bottom end of the market is quite low and will give you far less headaches than the "free" ones.

I know of one "free" service that serves Adsense when they have nothing in their own portfolio for that geo-location. Somebody who was "Adsense legal" in the USA could find themselves in breach of the ToS if the site was visited from Europe.

I can understand why people use these services but I would only recommend it as a way to practice site building before signing up for a decent hosting contract.

Would the host lose his Adsense account as well?

Unfortunately I do not think so.

it's allowed to have two adsense accounts in a single page, it's called revenue sharing ;)

Revenue sharing or not, I don't think you can have two AdS accounts on one page.

I have saw some old post saying that it is not allowed, do we know a Goggle statement saying officially this?
If it possible, I will use it.
