Very recently a prominent search blogger entered the Adsense program and immediately he runs into problems with the wording above his ads snip

Now, while his discussion of this is reasoned, how long before other, smaller, bloggers start draging Adsense through it.

Here are some not-so-far-fetched post titles:

'Google doesn't like me'
'Invited but then rejected'
'Google banned me for clicking just ONCE on my own ad'
'Google won't pay me - where's my money Google?'

Please note that these are just examples.

Has Google opened up a can of worms in more ways than one (i.e. more than just angering the advertisers) by inviting bloggers to Adsense?

This is why I have NO intention on putting Adsense in my blog. (Not that anyone reads my blog anyway . . . )

putting ads on my blog a year or so back was the best thing I ever did. As I think I've written elesewhere - I think there will be people who abuse adsense that are bloggers, just as there are those who abuse it who are non bloggers. I don't have an issue with blogs being allow to carry ads at all. Most bloggers will not make anything at all because they write about their walk in the park, their dogs or the book they are reading - add to that that most bloggers only get 50 or so readers a day and I dont think they will make much from it.

Of course the bigger and smart bloggers out there can and are making some good money from the system....
