Over the years, I've heard many times where advertisers in other areas of ecommerce have pulled out due to fraud or other rule infractions that weren't policed.
Do you really think you will earn more if you report violations?
Its not really the point is it, the facts are if Adsense have rules and other sites are clearly bending them they have an unfair advantage over sites like mine that play fair. It falls into the same category as black hat seo in my view.
If possible could AdSenseAdvisor respond to this post?
Thanks John
Hi all,
We monitor all abuse reports that you submit and take action on offending sites. Please note that I cannot comment on any specific site's compliance with our policies.
We appreciate you helping to maintain the quality of the AdSense program.

Thanks for the reply, but unless 6 months or over is the backlog I find that difficult to see.

In other words, because one person thinks a site breaks AdSense TOS, does not mean that everyone views that site in the same way.
These are not sites where the violation is a matter of opinon, they are a matter of fact.
I guess I will have to take googles word that they monitor all abuse reports.

Google has the ultimate word on that, but breaking the TOS is not a matter of opinion. When a site does break the rule, it breaks it.
I've reported some that were dealt with, and others that weren't. I still think its worth it. Note, however, that I only report the egregious cases, not the little things that can be classified under a webmaster's distraction.
I also think reporting these sites have a positive effect overall for honest publishers.
