Wondering about high paying keywords within a larger niche

Well I didn't know what other forum to toss this into so here goes..

Let's say I know a lot about a certain subject and theres a few niche sites I can make...And theres plenty of keywords to go along with the niche. How do I find the words to stress on the site that make the most money out of all of them?

In other words what you are trying to say is that you want to know what the high-paying keywords are - right? So that you can make a LOT of adsense money?

well yeah, i obviously want to start a blog about something people would definately have an interest in reading and participating in and want to make the most money possible. The thing is there's plenty of words tossed around within this niche that have multiple names and more than one meaning, so it's not so cut and dry. I just want to make the most of the ad space available by using the slang I guess you can say that is more lucrative instead of using a word that just because I or my co worers might use and think it's the most fitting, doesn't mean people across the globe see it the same way, ya know?

I think a lot of people forget that even though mortgage or personal finance or litigation are niches with very high keyword rates the reality is that only large websites with enormous traffic, good content, and great conversion rates get those $50 a click ads. If you just start a MFA website, all you are gonna get are $0.03 ads.

so what youre saying is basically that if the stuff im writing about draws a lot of interest over the coming months then your site gets to host ads that pay more? Sounds reasonable but i still need to know which keywords are the ones being used more by the people online rather than just in my own circle. For instance if we have something that we refer to as "glops" but they can also be called "glips" or "glaps" or even "gloops", but "gloops" and "glaps" also mean things concerning a comepletely different field, I need to know what words to shoot for to balance relevence and money

Smart advertisers will be bidding on all those variations and a lot more besides, so if your content is written to make good sense to users you'll catch those ads without micromanaging your vocabulary.

The words that put money in your pocket are those which attract visitors. Focus on creating quality content and let the system work.

Added comment: when a term can apply to more than one field, smart advertisers look for terms to block so their ads don't appear in useless places.

Example: If I were selling tuxedo jackets, there's little point in having my ad appear on your site about breeding tuxedo cats, so in my content network campaigns I'd block terms related to cats, felines, etc.

At your end, the more that your content is informative and keyword rich, the better the chance that terms I've blocked will keep my irrelevant ads off your page even if some of the terms overlap.

Write content that will be useful to the visitor, content that will cause the visitor to want to return again and again and refer others to your site.

Don't write content in a rainbow chasing effort of making money with AdSense.

Write for your visitors, not for your wallet. Then watch your wallet grow.

farmboy is right. AdSense is not a get rich quick program. Your approach needs to be more sophisticated. Like most things in life, it's not so simple.

First off, it's important to write about what you know. Or else pay others who know to write for you.

The rest, the foundation, is standard site development type research and planning.
